Project Retray

Development and validation of a generic, reusable tray for the tree and shrub cultivation of recycled plastic.

Collaboration partners M-Plastics, Maku Products and Vromans nurseries work together to make the green sector more sustainable, where many disposable plastics are traditionally used.

In a pilot project supported by the European Union and OP-east, the use of 90 millimeter disposable pots traditionally used for the cultivation of trees and shrubs is completely replaced by a reusable tray. The results of the project will be used for the broad market introduction of this method, which saves up to 90% CO2 emissions.
